Protocol for students unwell at school

Protocol for students unwell at school

To support our continued efforts to keep our school and community safe, please keep your child/ren at home if they are unwell and only allow them to return to school when they are symptom free.

Any student who presents at sick bay with general 'flu like symptoms', will be provided with a mask to wear and have their nominated parent/carer contacted for immediate pick up.

If you are unable to arrive at school within a relatively short amount of time, your child will be supervised in a designated area under the supervision of an Executive staff member and socially distanced from all other staff and students.

Parents/carers need to arrive as soon as possible to collect their child from school. If you will be delayed in collecting your child, we request that you make arrangements with a family member or friend to collect your child. We would hope that every family would have a 'Plan B' in place for collection of an unwell child. Prompt collection is critical.

If your child is unwell with any COVID-19 symptom a negative PCR test is essential prior to their return to school.  Please email all test results to carlingfor-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au before sending your child to school.

We appreciate your co-operation in assisting the school in keeping our community safe during these challenging times.
