Our extra-curricular highlights
Bands: Training / Concert / Performance
All of our bands are supported by the P&C and Key Music (more information here) who provide music lessons on site and conductors for the bands.
Our bands enjoy performing at special school events, Carlingford Court, and other external venues throughout the year.
Students graduate from the Training band to the Concert band and finally move on to the Performance band as their musical skills progress.
Dance
Junior dance group: students in Years 1 & 2
Senior dance group: students in Years 3 to 6
Our dancers are supported by dedicated Carlingford Public School teachers. They enjoy performing at special school events, the Alan Walker retirement village, Eisteddfods, and other external concerts.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Year 6 attend a 3 day camp each year. Other grades attend a variety of excursions across the year.
