School uniform
The parent community at Carlingford Public School has voted in favour of a school uniform and all children are expected to wear the uniform each day. The uniform standard at Carlingford Public School is excellent and often favourably commented upon by visitors.
The school has a “No Hat – No Play” policy which is enforced in the interests of the health of the children. School hats are available for purchase from the uniform shop.
Possessions
All clothing, lunch boxes, pencil cases, etc must be labelled with the child’s name.
Students are discouraged from bringing expensive electronic devices to school, unless it is a part of the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Program. If a parent wants their child to bring a mobile phone to school, the phone must be handed into the school office before class begins, in a container or plastic bag with the child’s name clearly written on the outside. The phone must be switched off and will not be returned to the child until after the 3.15pm bell rings.

Our school community has voted to have a uniform and students are expected to attend school each day in full uniform.
Our Uniform Shop is located next to the Multipurpose Learning Centre (Pre School) at the top of the school grounds. The shop is open on scheduled Wednesdays throughout the term, alternating between morning and afternoon trading hours to assist families with the purchase of new and good quality second-hand uniforms. Check the website events for opening times.
The shop accepts cash, EFTPOS, VISA and MasterCard payments. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cheque payments.
If you cannot attend the shop during the trading hours, orders can be placed on the Qkr! App or by submitting an order form at the office. Click the link above to download an order form or visit the school office. All orders must be placed by Tuesday each week at 3pm for Friday delivery to your child's classroom.
Returns and exchanges:
We are happy to exchange items within 60 days of purchase (excluding socks, hair accessories and pre-owned uniforms) if they are unworn, have the tags attached and you can provide proof of purchase. Returned items must be in resalable condition. If you require an exchange on any item, please visit our shop during trading times or leave your item(s) with the office and fill out our refund and exchange form.
