A Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) is a diverse and supportive group of parents, teachers and community representatives, who work together to build and maintain a strong partnership between Parents and the School.
Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents and carers, teachers and community members. The P&C is a forum for our school community to connect with each other, keep informed about relevant issues and support the activities of the School.
The P&C runs important School services such as the Canteen, Uniform Shop, Class Parent Program, Fundraising Events and Bands.
The Class Parent program is especially designed to ensure that our new parents can learn the Schools routines and culture, as well as building new relationships for both their children and families. Within this program, our Language Representatives also aim to improve accessibility and provide networking opportunities dedicated to the diverse languages and cultures of our School families.
Funds raised by the P&C from events, services and government grants are directed by our members to enrich the culture of the school and fund a wide range of projects to improve resources and infrastructure
You can get involved in the P&C by attending meetings, serving on the Executive or a Committee, or volunteering to help at events or our Canteen or Uniform shop. Membership is very cheap and allows you a real say in the future of your School, and your community. Check the Events section of the website for meeting details.
As a parent, you can build networks with countless other school parents, keep informed about relevant issues, and support the activities of the School. Together we form a strong voice for the parents of Carlingford Public School and can accomplish a huge amount for our children.
